Rub nuts, well nuts or sometimes known as rawl nuts are flanged rubber inserts with a captive brass nut inside. Fixing to virtually any material, either solid or hollow, they work well in numerous applications including metal sheet, plywood, and glass, plastic, composites etc.
The rubber inserts work well anywhere and they have the added advantage of not requiring any special tool.-great for the handyman. Highly valuable in isolating vibration and noise transmission.
